## A Series on Productivity Hacks

If you’re interested in this topic, I actually already have so many videos on this. I have a series on my morning and night rituals, and part three is coming very soon. And I’m also about to do a series on productivity hacks so that you can also become your most successful and productive self while taking care of yourself.

## Let’s Get Straight Into My Tips

So if you like this kind of video, definitely subscribe. Also, let me know in the comments, cuz music I always read them. Now, without further ado, let’s get straight into my tips. Okay, first things first, I don’t want you to think of self-care as something you have to add to your routine, a burden that you have to carry.

## Add Self-Care to Something That You’re Already Doing

Instead, I want you to think of it as something that makes your life easier, that takes a weight off your shoulders. Self-care in general is something that should make your routine feel more enjoyable. So the first tip that I want to give to you is to actually add self-care to something that you’re already doing, to a habit that you already have.

Don’t make it harder than it should be. Make something you’re already doing even more enjoyable, especially if it’s not enjoyable, especially if it’s a chore. So let’s say every single night you come back from work and you’re so tired, but you have to walk your dog. This is the perfect moment to listen to your favorite podcast, to listen to something that will motivate you, something that will relax you.

## Listening to Something Motivating, Inspiring

I do this every single time I walk my dog, and it honestly makes my night, because every single night I don’t want to get dressed to go walk my dog when we already had dinner. I really don’t want to go out, but listening to something motivating, inspiring really makes my night, and I actually want to walk more because of how much fun I’m having.

## The Easiest Form of Self-Care

This is really the easiest form of self-care. There are so many inspiring videos, music, and podcasts that really can change your perspective, and listening to them really can change music how your day is going, especially if you’re feeling negative. You can listen to something that will inspire you or comfort you, and you don’t even have to put any effort in.

## Doing a Face Mask While I’m Cleaning

Another thing I really like to do, for instance, is doing a face mask while I’m cleaning. So you might be super busy, maybe you don’t even have time to take care of your skin. Or if I have a book that I really want to read but I never have the time to do that, you can read it while you have your morning coffee instead of scrolling on your phone, especially if it’s a self-development book.

## You Do Not Have to Make These Big Changes

You’re going to start your day much more inspired instead of stressed music because you saw all the news of what was happening in the world in the first 5 seconds that you woke up. I want you to understand that you do not have to make these big changes in your routine. You don’t even have to make the time for these things music.

Sometimes it’s the smallest switches that make the biggest difference, so try to add a little self-care moment into something that you’re already doing. Tip number two is plan. You plan everything: your work, your meetings, your lunch break, all of your appointments.

## It’s Going to Happen Magically

But when it comes to self-care, you just think that it’s going to happen magically. You think that you don’t have the time, so there’s no point in planning. You don’t want to fit it in your calendar. Maybe you think you don’t have time.

## I Don’t Want to Schedule This Kind of Time

You tell yourself, “Oh, but when I come home from work or uni, whatever, I’m so tired and I don’t want to do more things. I don’t want to schedule this kind of time.” But the reality that we both know music is that when you come home, you just sit on the sofa, you scroll for 2 hours, and then you feel more tired than before.

## So Schedule It

So schedule it. Maybe schedule a night walk or a morning workout, or a self-care night. Maybe tell yourself, “On Tuesday I’m going to have a self-care night all alone.” This is schedule, you plan it just like with everything else in your life. You should make the time for it.

## So Much Time That We Spend on Our Phones

If you think that you don’t have time, trust me, you’re going to find it, cuz there’s so much time that we spend on our phones that we could spend doing anything music else. And also, we’re literally talking about self-care. It’s something that you should enjoy, something that should take the weight off your shoulders, not something that should feel like a chore.

## Make It Smaller, Make It Simple

For example, I moved in with my boyfriend last year, and no matter how hard a week was or how busy it was, I always wanted to make sure that we had a little date night planned, and that would mean that sometimes I put in the effort, sometimes he puts in the effort, but we always wanted to make sure that we had a nice meal or even just a little drink on the balcony, even watching a movie together.

## Why Don’t You Deserve It

It’s really a way to show your love for the other person, making time for them. And just like you do it with your friends or with your partner, you should do it for yourself too. So my question to you is: what do they all have that you don’t have? Why do they deserve it, and why don’t you deserve it?

## A Bare Minimum Routine

Okay, my next step is actually very good, and it’s something super crucial to understand, and if you want to be consistent, it is to start having a bare minimum routine music.Stop thinking that because you skipped a workout, you should ruin your whole routine.

## Stretch for 5 Minutes

For example, let’s say that you have the goal of working out three times per week. If one day you’re feeling less motivated or super tired, I want you to go in your room and just stretch for 5 minutes, or even just go on a light walk. You actually want to implement self-care, something that you do for yourself music.

## Something That You Choose to Do

It should feel like something that you’re doing for yourself, something that you choose to do. And even if you stretch for 5 minutes, what you’re doing is you’re telling your brain, “I’m a person who is consistent, I don’t skip my workouts.” This is your routine.

## Those Old Cycles

That’s a lot of time in the day is used for working out, and trust me, the 5 minutes, yes, they will add up at the end of the year. Maybe you’ll become more flexible, but don’t really do anything. We know that what you’re going to do is avoid going back into those old cycles where you skip a day in your diet and you tell yourself, “Okay, I ruined my diet, let’s go eat everything I have in my pantry.”

## You’re Telling Your Brain You’re a Consistent Person

The point is not that those 5 minutes will do anything. The point is that you’re telling your brain you’re a consistent person. Having even a whole routine, whole lazy routine for your lazy days, that’s perfectly productive, because when you’re feeling tired, you don’t want to do anything, you know you’re still consistent.

And maybe that could literally be going to your room, stretching for 5 seconds, and that’s it. But that way, it’s just a psychological thing. You’re not telling yourself, “I’m going to ruin everything.” No, you’re telling yourself, “It’s fine, because I planned this. I know that I can have lazy days, and tomorrow I’m going to go back into routine again.”

## It’s Literally Just Psychological, but It Works

It’s literally just psychological, but it works. That is such an easy way to not see self-care, taking care of yourself, taking care of your body, as a chore music. It’s something you do because you love yourself.

## Learn to Accept Help

If you feel the need to do something easier, you need to tell yourself that you can do it, but in order to avoid going back into this whole spirals, having small micro habits, having small micro lazy routines will help you a lot. Tip number four, this is pure self-care, and it is: learn to accept help, especially if you’re a woman.

## You Need to Learn to Delegate

Please understand that doing things alone will not make you win a prize. That will only burn you out, and trust me, it took me a long time to understand this, but you need to learn to delegate. If you’re doing this to prove something to someone, trust me, men do that all the time. If men can avoid doing something, they’re going to do it immediately.

## Delegating a Project at Work

Doesn’t make you stronger to not accept health, it doesn’t make you smarter, it just burns you out. Whatever saves you a little bit of time to take care of yourself, please do it. That might look like delegating a project at work, so learning to let go of your control, perfectionism, and I know I had to work on that, or having help around the house.

## I Can Do It Myself

Doesn’t make you not capable of doing something, it just makes your life easier. I used to be, since I was a kid, always the kind of person who always said no when someone offered their help to me. I always thought, “I can do it myself, I don’t need their help, I want everything to be perfect.”

## There Is No Price if Not Losing Your Mental Health

Yeah, maybe everything was perfect, but I also knew that on here I would literally go crazy because I had to do everything by myself. But again, you need to understand that, trust music me, there is no price if not losing your mental health.

## A Low Sensory Evening

Okay, the next tip to implement some self-care into your busy schedule is to always try to have a low sensory evening. And again, I actually made a whole video on this, on my whole self-care night rituals, in order to make my life a little bit more relaxing. But even if you cannot do all of this, just take what resonates and leave what doesn’t, but just try to find what works for you personally.

That also includes warm lights. This is something I said countless times. If you follow me, you know that, but that can include some relaxing products that you literally take 2 seconds to apply, anything that works for you. Find what works for you. I don’t want to repeat myself too much, cuz again, I already made a whole video on this, but make sure that you take some time to unwind every single music night. It’s incredibly important if you want to take care of yourself to have a little unwind routine.

## Midday Check-Ins with Yourself

Tip number six is to have midday check-ins with yourself, and this one is actually one of the easiest ways to ground yourself and bring in more softness into your days without having to stop anything you’re doing. Literally just takes 30 seconds. What I mean by that is, I want you to feel yourself right now and tell me: are you clenching your jaw? Are you breathing normally?

## Holding Your Breath

Have you been breathing deeply, or have you been holding your breath while entering emails for the last 30 minutes? That is something I really started to realize, that sometimes my breathing pattern is literally messed up. I don’t make deep breaths, I don’t breathe, basically music.

## I’m a Living Being

Sometimes it takes a conscious effort to realize, maybe I, I was just stressed for no reason. Maybe I’m sitting like this and I’m working like this, and having a little check-in with yourself means music realizing, “Oh, I’m a living being. Maybe I can breathe normally, maybe I can unclench my jaw, I’m stressing myself for no reason.”

## Take a Moment to Observe Your Plate

Other thing is, are you eating? And if you are, are you inhaling your food? Are you eating while you’re watching this? Are you tasting while you’re eating, or you just listening to me? Take a moment to observe your plate, to actually enjoy what you’re eating.

## Take You Out of Autopilot

Don’t just ingest your food, and awareness is actually a huge part of having a good digestion as well, actually chewing your food, really enjoying it. These are just small checks that literally just take a few seconds, that take you out of autopilot. Again, are you hungry right now? Are you thirsty? Are you anxious? Why are you anxious?

## That Is Real Self-Care

We are so good at ignoring the signals from our bodies. Again, there’s no easier way to practice self-care, there’s no easier way to get back in tune with yourself, and it literally just takes a few seconds. So that is really one of the most important tips for me. That is real self-care.

## Meal Prepping

Another self-care ritual that is actually completely different, that will save you a lot of time, is meal prepping. And I’m not talking about spending your entire Sunday prepping 15 different meals, putting them in these little containers. No, I’m talking about simply making your life easier for your future self.

## Looking for Some Inspiration

Maybe scrolling a little bit on Pinterest, looking for some inspiration for some meals that you’re actually going to eat, writing down your weekly meals so that you know exactly what you’re going to eat, so that you don’t order takeout. Or if you know you’re going to have a super busy day tomorrow, maybe take 20 or 30 minutes the night before to cook something that you know you’re actually going to enjoy eating.

## You Don’t Have to Make a Decision

Maybe wash and cut some fruit, maybe wear like some rice or some pasta, whatever is going to make sense for your schedule and taste, so that when you actually open the fridge, you don’t have to make a decision. It’s already there. You already wash all your fruit, maybe you already cooked some of your veggies, so that again, you don’t have to make all this big decision: “Oh, am I going to eat healthy, or am I going to order takeout?” It’s already there.

## Not a Punishment

I want you to think of it as asking yourself, “What can I do right now that is going to make my life easier later?” Again, starting from the perspective of someone who really loves themselves, not a punishment. You’re not punishing yourself making salads, you’re not punishing yourself making meals that taste like nothing.

## Sometimes You Cannot Do It All

Finally, we’re at the final point, which music is actually really crucial, and it is that you have to understand that sometimes you cannot do it all, meaning that sacrifices will be part of the process. You can do everything I said, but if you want to work out and you want to work and you want to have the healthy body and want to have time for self-care and you want to have time for your friends, you’re going to have to plan your weeks accordingly, and the hours will stay the same, so you’re not going to have magically more hours.

## Not Going to Have as Much Time for Your Friends

Want to spend time with your significant others, not going to have as much time for
